This tour will take you
off the beaten path to experience Iceland´s natural gems in the comfort
of our
4x4 super jeep. Our first destination is the beautiful and historic
Þingvellir
area where Iceland´s first parliament “Alþingi” was established in 930
AD. We will walk down through Almannagjá canyon and to the Silfra
fissure in
the heart of the park. Here you will get to experience the clearest
waters in the world on our famous Into The Blue snorkeling trip. The
underwater visibility of the lava field stretches into the distance, on
good day more then 100 meters! You will also be snorkeling with America
on one side and Europe on the other, this is with out a doubt one of the
most unique and refreshing trips Iceland has to offer.
Next,
we take the trail behind the picturesque shield volcano Skjaldbreid, and after
about a two hours drive on tough trails and some river crossings we get back to
normal roads again. Our next stop, Gullfoss, is Iceland´s best known waterfall,
it cascades down 32 meters into the mighty glacial river Hvítá. After seeing
Gullfoss up close we continue onwards for a short drive to the Geysir geothermal
area. There we will eye witness the spouting hotspring in all its
power.

the landscapes and natural forces that have shaped and continue to shape
